Account Executive with 5-7 years of experience. This is an opportunity
for a creative, “out of the box” thinker to grow in a fun yet
professional environment. In this position, based at our Stamford
offices, the candidate will work very closely with healthcare experts,
healthcare media, and thought leaders to help execute our clients’ PR
strategies. Responsibilities and requirements include:

Develop and execute PR strategies for
prominent healthcare/health-tech clients.

Pitch, network and work closely with
the media to optimize our clients’ exposure.

Attend relevant client meetings to
really understand their issues and goals.

Familiarity with
healthcare/health-tech industry and issues is a plus.

Excellent writing skills.

Ability to work with and develop
media relationships.

Very strong client relationship
skills.

Excellent project management skills
coupled with meeting the clients’ need.

Solid understanding of PR.

B.A. in Communications, PR,
Journalism, and/or Healthcare-related studies.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

command of the English language.

Opportunity
This is an
entry-level opportunity for a reliable student of Communications,
Journalism and Public Relations. Solid communication skills required
along with MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Powerpoint a big plus) and
excellent organizational skills. This is an opportunity to work hands-on
and you will be in contact with high profile healthcare and financial
services clients, experts, media, and thought leaders. We are looking
for a multi-tasker with a "can do" attitude. We take our work seriously
and expect you would as well, however, this does not mean we don't have
fun! This is part admin/part entry level PR Coordinator position working
directly with the Vice President of Financial Services.
A large part of this
opportunity involves information gathering and research. Follow up with
media, proofread and track releases. Light office administration duties
to help the VP of Financial Services. In this position, you will learn
the basic components that comprise a successful public relations
campaign and how to effectively execute on that strategy by producing
tangible results for your clients. The ideal candidate will be
organized, professional and have the ability to multi-task, as well as
the desire to learn new skills and take on challenging assignments.
